At The Pocket Early Education and Care, we understand the importance of children starting their learning journeys from a young age, which is why we offer the FUNdamentals program for our 2 years and older children. Kids Music Beat

This program offers music early learning and education to child care aged children. We use empirical research in music therapy and early childhood education to enhance and support children’s:

  • Cognitive learning
  • Fine and gross motor skills
  • Visual and auditory processing and memory
  • Language development
  • Stimulate imagination and active role play
  • Self-control and turn-taking (social skills)

All Kids Music Beat groups are child-centred and interactive; all music is played live and while we work from a highly developed session plan.

LCF Fun Languages Program

Fun Languages is held at The Pocket Early Education and Care once a week, and it helps children to learn languages in an engaging environment, by using the following tools:

Physi Kids

Physi Kids has grown to become the most popular choice of fitness and sport for children in Brisbane. Using this program, educators look to teach children key motor skills through fun and non-competitive games of fifteen different sports. Developing a range of physical abilities and skills, include:

Dance Along

The Dance Along classes use a variety of equipment like puppets backdrops, to instruments and motor skills equipment to help encourage the use and improvement of both movement and social skills. With the inclusion of multi-cultural aspects and experiences, Dance Along is well rounded and exciting inclusion to our weekly schedule.

Kindy Science

Kindy Science is developed for children in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Maths), Kindy Science is an extended version for children in the bracket of early childhood and care ages. When started from a young age, exposure to this area of engaging activities helps to build a sense of curiosity for the world around them, as well as understanding how to find solutions to problems.
